College Of Police Is One Of The Important academic Institutions That Belongs To Ministry Of Interior .It Is Specialized In Preparing Police Officers To Work In Internal Security Forces, By (Strengthening Them With The Best (Knowledge And Training) According To Teaching And Training Program To Become A Qualified Police Officer , College Of Police Was Working In Accordance To Internal System Instructions Of College Number (1) On Year (2000) Adjusted , College Of Police Was Established On Year (2000) In Sulaimanya According To Order Of The Presidency Of Ministers Council Number (254) On (09/01/2000), Before Year (2000) College Of Police Called The Directorate Of Police Schools ,College Of Police from The Beginning Of Its Establishment Has Opened Several Course And Approximately About 2000 Police Officers Graduated In This Institution Until Now,

1- Police Major General (Rizgar Ali) Commenced On (10/10/2000) To (5/10/2001).   

2- Police Major General (Othman Hussen Muhammad) Commenced On (5/10/2001) To (31/8/2007).

3- Major General (Dr.) (Salar Abdullah Aziz) Commenced On (1/9/2007) Continued Until Now.
